  • Payment information: when you make or receive donations, we collect payment details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages or support requests you send us.

We also collect information automatically, including:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps).
  • Device information (operating system, unique device identifiers).
  • Cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and remember your preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Fortifaith platform.
  • Process donations and send transaction receipts.
  • Send you service-related emails (account verification, donation confirmations, follower notifications).
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve your experience.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: third parties that perform services on our behalf (Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Other users: your public profile, posts, and creator handle are visible to anyone on the platform. Donations you make are visible to the recipient creator.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business transfers: in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., transaction records required for tax purposes).

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
